Features

in-system Process regulator is a completely new generation with intelligent PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) control and stepper motor controls combined in a single product for use in a long industrial processes, e.g. temperature regulation and control of heaters, flow regulation of dosing or monitoring of atmosphere control in production furnaces.

The web interface makes it possible to obtain detailed, user-friendly online information such as the device’s status, as well as output data directly to another process control system via the Web API.

in-system Process regulator continuously monitors the customer-selected process variables, such as temperature, pressure, flow or level within the preset range. Feedback from the individual sensors is used to identify any deviation from a set point and automatically adjust the output until the parameters are within range. This precise control improves the quality control, while enabling the automation of complex processes. This improves efficiency and safety without the need for increased labour.

in-system Process regulator is also available both in a stand-alone version for DIN rail mounting and in a built-in version and as an OEM product with a programmable colour display with its own front plate with text and company logo.

Product support - FAQ

Display must be supplied with 24 VDC.

Both relays can be used for 230 VAC, max. 2 Amp.

The display can be programmed for up to 4 Solid State relay outputs, which can only be active when the display is active.

Own programming can be changed continuously in “Default” mode.  In “Reset” mode, everything can be deleted.

Nonlinear signals can be programmed either as a table or as a formula.

No, the display cannot measure AC signals.

The display can only handle one T/C type. The T/C type is selected in the order template, where you can choose between all relevant TC types.

Cold Junction Compensation is integrated in the in-system display and continuously corrects for changes in ambient temperatures so that Tset is not affected by the controller’s ambient temperature.

Thermocouple Error Detection is integrated in the in-system display and corrects immediately in the event of thermocouple faults, and shuts down the current process sequence.

Pulse Width Modulation is a digital form of modulation in which an electrical voltage alternates between two values in a square pulse modulated at a constant frequency whose width varies. The relationship between pulse and pause is called the duty cycle. The frequency in all in-system products is 1500 Hz.

Duty cycle describes the proportion of “on” time in the control process, a low operating cycle corresponds to low power because the power is off most of the time.Operating cycle is expressed as a percentage, 100% is fully on.When a digital signal is on half the time and off the other half of the time, the digital signal has a 50% duty cycle and looks like a “square” wave.

See it illustrated in three scenarios in the document PWM.

Yes, display text is completely optional. Letters, numbers and symbols can be used.
