Information

A new generation of oxygen meter with Zirconia oxide oxygen sensor with built-in pump and programmable display

  • Digital display of oxygen content, flow, and alarm status
  • Large measuring range, from 100% to> 10-29 bar O2
  • No cross-sensitivity to N2, Ar, He, CO2, and H2O
  • Flow regulation with a built-in Mass Flow Controller instead of a ball flow meter with a needle valve
  • Fast response and long-term stable

Features

in-system Oxygen Analyzer is a new generation and a compact and robust oxygen meter specially built for use in demanding industrial and laboratory processes. For example, control of critical oxygen atmospheres where low oxygen partial pressures are required, testing the purity of gases such as N2, Ar, He, and CO2, and for oxygen measurement in chemical, metallurgical, and medical industries, research, and development.

in-system Oxygen Analyzer has a specific potentiometric ceramic oxygen sensor with Zirconia electrolyte, ensuring a high-speed measurement and extended sensor life. The built-in Mass Flow Controller ensures a constant flow either from the built-in pump or from the measuring gas.

in-system Oxygen Analyzer is also available as an OEM product with a front plate with text and company logo.

Product support - FAQ

It is a potentiometric Zirconia sensor that is heated to approx. 700° C. The sensor emits a logarithmic EMF in mV, which is inversely proportional to the oxygen content. The sensor uses atmospheric air as reference gas, which is why the sensor emits 0 mV at 20.9% oxygen, negative EMF at increasing, and positive EMF at decreasing oxygen concentrations.

The measuring range is extremely large for inert gases, e.g., O2, N2, CO2, CO, Ne, Ar, and He, from 100% oxygen to 0.1 ppm oxygen.

The life of the sensor is typically several years if condensation is avoided.

Yes, the pump function is discontinued directly on display.

All inert gases, e.g., O2, N2, CO2, CO, Ne, Ar, He

And combustible gases, e.g., Hydrogen [H2 <10%], Methane [CH4], Butane [C4H10].

The heating time is approx. Five minutes, and full thermal stability is achieved within 30 minutes.

The sensor response time is a few milliseconds. The system response time depends on the gas velocity in the hose/pipe and the flow geometry in the flow system up to the Oxygen Analyzer.

For measuring in the % range, a plastic hose of PE or PUR can be used.

For measuring on Brint and He, metal pipes made of stainless steel or copper are always recommended.

For measuring in the ppm range or measuring combustible gases, metal pipes made of stainless steel or copper are always recommended.

We recommend that Oxygen Analyzer be inspected and calibrated once a year.

Yes, it only requires at least 2 calibration gases with known oxygen content. The procedure is described in the Manual for Oxygen Analyzer.

Yes, the supplied supply can be supplied and used directly for 115 VAC.

The maximum flow is 2 liters/min, set on the display and regulated by the Mass Flow Controller.

The minimum recommended flow is 50 ml/min. Low flow means a longer response time.

Yes, display text is completely optional. Letters, numbers and symbols can be used.

Yes, the Oxygen Analysatoren can be delivered with desired/recommended fittings, see order template.
